The Goa Non Governmental Organizations Accreditation Guidelines 2014
          The Directorate of Women and Child Development has notified the Guidelines for Grant of Accreditation to Non Governmental Organizations in the field of Women and Child Welfare NGOS Accreditation guidelines 2014 vide notification no. 2-94-2004/DWCD/Part File No. 1/08563 dated 1st September, 2014.
Accreditation will be given to Non Governmental Organizations working primarily in the field of Women and Child Welfare within the State of Goa. The Accreditations will be granted to Non Governmental Organizations as per eligibility conditions laid down in these guidelines.
The Directorate of Women and Child Development has constituted a
Committee called the Goa Non Governmental Organisations Accreditation Committee (GNGOAC) to discharge the functions laid down under these guidelines.
The applications approved by GNGOAC shall be issued a Certificate of Accreditation in prescribed format annexed to these guidelines by the Director, Women and Child Development. The accreditation granted shall be valid for a period of three years and subject to further renewal by GNGOAC.
Accreditation shall not confer any official or special status on any Non Governmental Organization or its representatives, but it shall only recognize their identity as an accredited NGO.
All the Non Government Organization (NGOs) working in the field of child and women development/welfare in Goa are hereby requested to submit their application to the Directorate in hard copy as per the format available in guidelines.
